Sheila Delutri joined Hightower in 2012 as a Managing Director and Partner of Hightower Las Vegas, following a 34-year career in financial services at Merrill Lynch.
An advocate of the team approach to wealth management, Sheila’s role continues to focus on the development and implementation of wealth management programs and strategies for clients and their families. She works with families with special needs children, as well as families with both new and multigenerational wealth to help create governance around the spending, saving and sharing of family resources. Sheila is driven by her passion for the creation of customized, comprehensive strategies to help clients realize their goals.
Sheila joined Merrill Lynch within weeks of graduating from Torrejon High School in Madrid, Spain. Her education in the financial services profession was from the bottom up. She learned the basics by completing an internal economics program created by Donald T. Regan, former CEO of the firm and Treasury Secretary of the United States. She was one of the first women to be licensed as a financial advisor in her community.
A member of the Las Vegas community for 44 years, Sheila has served on the Nevada Community Foundation Advisors Council, and is currently serving as First Vice Chair of the Foundation Board of Opportunity Village.
She is married to her husband of over 40 years, Michael. Their two adult children have blessed them with four grandchildren who command all of their spare time.
